Merry Christmas, a bit early this time.
As I already alluded to in the past on our Discord server, I am semi-retiring from being a Moderator on the website, or more accurately I already did that a while ago, with just some occasional uploads here and there. My spare time has decreased pretty drastically recently, and even if that weren't the case I lost the drive to spend much of my time on maintaining the website.

I don't really see the point in putting effort into a project that obviously isn't going anywhere. Puru stopped responding to messages altogether and I'm not sure myself if he would just not react at all down the line anymore when the site crashes again. Crackmore apparently still approves uploads regularly, though he stopped uploading for the most part as well, and so did Fram. Basically, we don't have any active uploaders anymore who would steadily provide new galleries for the website, and I'm not sure if Crackmore still wants to manage the content on Pururin into the future or quit doing that as well.
If someone reading this genuinely wants to contribute by either being an active Uploader and / or Moderator on the website, send me a Discord message. I'd be happy to give you some pointers and tips if you want to maintain the galleries on the site, even if I lost the motivation to do it myself.

On another note: Even if the website breaks at some point, our Discord server will keep existing (you can join it [here](https://discord.gg/Y7V4F82bd5); I posted the same Announcement there as well). It wasn't very closely tied to the website to begin with anyway and mostly just a general Manga / Anime / Weeb community server. I won't spend as much time on it as I did in the past, but I'll stick around. I did have a good time with this community over the years, even if I might not show it very openly.

A bit sad since I've been using this site since I was 12 and it was my first doujinshi site. But there are now other active sites that have the same gallery that there really isn't much reason for Pururin to continue aside from being one option.

I'd become a moderator but again I don't really see much purpose there. Thank you for your service though.

Head up for those out of the loop. He went into semi-retirement years ago, he has barely done anything since 2020, this announcement was about semi-retiring as discord mod and fully retiring his work on the site without bothering to appoint a new mod to take over.

Not before he made sure to chase away our other active uploaders with excessive drama of course, just because he doesn't work here anymore doesn't mean anyone else should be allowed to fill the gap.

I'll keep sporadically checking in to do what little moderation I'm allowed to do but I've mostly moved on to E-Hentai at this point, unlike on Pururin, I'm not the only active users who understands basic tagging rules over there so that part of content moderation goes a bit smoother, superior versions of galleries can be provided without the reupload and drama we get here and they don't just have a wider range of available Artist/Game CG and Doujinshi/Manga, but offer Western, 3d and Cosplay content as well, and in a wider range of languages if you care about that. The only real downsides compared to Pururin are that they get DMCAd more often (on the flip side, the site doesn't fucking die entirely every few months because of false CP reports to hosting providers like Pururin does) and that you need to go into the settings for it to show covers on front page instead of some stupid list (there's more customizability than Pururin has though like multiple favorite lists, option of hiding content with blacklisted tags completely, a separate front page that only shows content with your favorite tags and downloading galleries through torrents; a ton more niche things through tapermonkey scripts).

You can link internally to galleries, users, tags, etc. by typing an identifier (consisting of one letter and a number) between brackets. To quickly find and select tags and galleries to link to, use the searchfield to insert them into your post.
