Shuu-kun is Do-M (big masochist) and Haru-chan is Do-S (big sadist). In the early portions of the story these character traits are difficult to spot, but they get increasingly worse until they are very obvious. This is why Haru-chan chooses to stay with Shuu-kun and why Shuu-kun seemed to enjoy being humiliated by his wife. Both main characters were deeply flawed and grotesque individuals, but their flaws complement one another and in a very fucked up way, that's kind of beautiful.
Damn, this really needs a continuation. The art is great, the plot is actually kind of interesting. There's no way it will have a happy ending with the daughters though.
